Milking Experience at Finca Terra Viva

Monteverde is not only known for its scenic and natural beauty, but also for its dairy products. This tour takes place on a property where 60% of its territory is primary forest, showing that livestock can be raised without damaging the local ecosystem. During this tour, you will learn about the projects carried out on the farm, which transitioned from a regular dairy farm to a sustainable dairy farm that currently has an Ecological Blue Flag.

However, that’s just the beginning. This is an interactive tour, where you can milk the cows, participate in artisanal cheese production, and even feed the little calves (depending on availability). Overall, it’s an authentic natural and cultural experience in a place committed to the environment that has become one of the emblems of Monteverde.
