Ocotea Tours was founded by Karen Fallas with the support of her family in 2008, guided by a vision of a tour company dedicated to protecting and sustaining the beauty of Monteverde while sharing it with the world.
Today, led by the mother-daughter team of Karen and Valeria Fallas, Ocotea Tours & Transfers is the longest-running tour operator in the Monteverde area, with more than 16 years in the Monteverde Tourism industry.
Our owners and the vast majority of our team are locals who have worked in Monteverde tourism for their entire lives. We take pride in hosting you the way we would a close friend — with nothing but the best recommendations, and friendly, attentive support that shows we care.
